Carseat suggestions for Plane

We will be flying to Disney at the end of August with our ds (6) and dd (almost 3) at the time. I am planning on bringing a carseat for our dd because she is very active and I like the idea that she is strapped in. My issue is that the two carseats we have for here are Britax Regent (way to big for travel) and the Britax Marathon (I know I could use this but would rather not since it is rather bulky as well). We do have a 3rd vehicle which we could use a seat for so I am willing to buy a 3rd seat if I could find a good, aforadable seat. We don't use the car very often so I am not willing to shell out the $ for another Britax. Anyone know a good seat which is affordable and approved for airplanes? SHe is over 30 lbs. Thanks!!

We have a Britax Marathon in our car for DS2 and we use a Cosco Scenera for travel. It's smaller and lighter than the Britax, but still a safe seat. Plus, it's only about $50 at Target and Walmart.

We also bought that Cosco car seat mentioned in the previous note. It is really light weight, cheap, and the rear latch clips onto the bottom back of the seat and creates a sort of strap to carry it with through the airport. I would highly recommend it....

We bought the Cosco Scenera car seat for our recent flight since we didn't want to lug around our Graco Nautilus. The Scenera worked great- it even came with a nice plastic cover with handle.

I also purchased a cosco scenera as the previous posters mentioned. I paid $30 for it at Walmart...great price for the few times i'll need it and it's very light weight.. I didn't want to lug around my Britax.
