CARS Land?

Hello, I'm looking to plan our family's second trip to DL here in the next couple of years and almost forgot about CA adding CARS Land. Have there been any updates about when it will open (was thinking it might be in '12) and if it's on track to open on time?

Carsland is still set to open summer 2012 as far as I know. But it is so far out, it is probably too hard to say if it will be on time. They are testing the track for the Cars ride currently. Thank you very much. Glad I saw something about it, because I've really been pushing DW into going next year, but would have felt really foolish when I saw CARSland being constructed, DS2 being very into CARS and just cars in general.

Oh yeah, add that to the new Little Mermaid ride and WOC and it should be an amazing trip! I'd go in later summer, not June but you can watch the tracker as it gets closer.

Keep an eye on the tracker. If you can see any pictures the landscaping will go in a couple months before any attraction can open. This way the plants can grow into their new home and establish themselves before guests see them. Also things like railing and benches go in last too so the contructions crew doesn't use them and ruin them working around them. These is usually a good indicator because it is all essentially "finish work".
