Cars land at hollywood studios

It's 100% rumor right now. There is some evidence pointing toward "something" (see the "Which rumor likely to become true thread" for some details), but there's nothing anywhere close to official (or even unofficial!) about it.

I just hope it happens it would be awesome
but hope they do some different rides so that it doesn't tarnish CA version

I may never get to CA, so I'm hoping hard that this happens :goodvibes.

It would definitely be a game-changer for DHS if this were to happen. It would be on par with what the Wizarding World Of HP has done for Islands of Adventure.

One of the Rumor Mongers on another website has said a DHS announcement will be made during the D23 Expo this year.

I'd rather DHS not repeat what is already in CA. A general Pixar land or Star Wars land would be awesome. Of course either concept could probably sustain it's own park, but that's unlikely to happen any time soon.

Not saying Disney will do this, but frankly, they could do both a general Pixar land and Star Wars land at HS and get away with it. Plenty of room with tearing down existing "long-in-the-tooth" attractions and expansion beyond Star Tours. Wishful thinking, perhaps, but darn it if I wouldn't shell out cash for those. Right now, we hardly go to HS, and when we do, it is just to hit a few rides and then out the door.

I go to this park once every five years, my last time was this pas March. I have decided not to go to this park ever again unless they add something big like Cars Land and Star Wars Land

Agreed. Carsland fits in California and should stay unique to that park. You already have 'Pixar Place', they just need more added to it. Would love a Monsters Inc dark ride or coaster. Star Wars Land, I believe, is going to be a lot more realistic for a DHS expansion

Cars Land at HS would be awesome! Like previously stated, who knows if we would ever go to Disneyland. It would be neat to experience Cars Land in Florida!

Our VIP tour guide told us that Backlot tour will be ending (we saw a lot of the props removed going through back entrances) and not to be surprised if Cars Land takes over the space (wink, wink). She and other guides were recently sent to CA to tour Cars Land so I definitely think there may be some truth to it - hope so!!

When we were at Backlot Tours a CM said they were "changing up" the attraction - at the time I took it to mean they were just making some changes to Backlot tours, but it could be an indication that it may close and make way for something completely new. I wouldn't be surprised.

That would be very awesome. For those that haven't been to CarsLand at the DLR let me say it is pretty cool, especially for someone with small boys like we have. And hands-down, Radiator Springs Racers is the very best ride in all of Disney-dom!
