Cars characters?

Anyone know how long the CARS characters will be in the parks?

I can't picture them getting rid of them anytime soon. The movie has been a success with little boys (you can tell because you will see lots of little boys wearing shirts around the parks!). I think they will be there for a while.

Considering the fact that the other Pixar characters are still around (Buzz & Woody, Nemo, Incredibles, etc.) I would think that they would be in the parks indefinitely.

The characters are definitely not going anywhere. The film is doing very well and people love the characters!

I would think you would be OK then, especially since they'll be getting ready to release the DVD in time for Christmas.

Oh i hope they are there indefinately, we are going november 07, and my daughter LOVES cars, she absolutely LOVES it. I saw a pic of the parade with Lightening McQueen and showed my DD she was thrilled we might see them.

I hope they plan on keeping them there for quite awhile. My DS 2 loves the movie and has almost all of the cars and would just love to seem them when we go in March.

Does anyone have pictures of these characters? I have never seen them and I am curious as to how they have a car walking around meeting people. Or are they just in the parades?

They have their own meet and greet several times a day. They drive around in the area over by the new stunt show.

Thanks for posting the pics!! I had been trying to imagine how they'd create costumes for these characters. It never occurred to me that they'd just use actual CARS!

Do they "talk" ?

If I remember correctly, we "met" the Incredibles at the animation exhibit in MGM when their movie had just come out. Then when Chicken Little came out, those characters were available at the animation exhibit instead. But the Incredibles didn't go away, they just got bumped from the "let's promote our newest movie!" area.

Weeeeellllll, when we go in January, I know one little boy who will definitely want to meet these cars.

WE just saw the movie and my DD8 wants to see them too. And not to be a cynic but they should have a lot more merchandising left in them before they are not profitable.
