I just got home from seeing Cars 2 in 3-D. Movie was good but I don't think the 3-D was that fantastic, i think the movie will be just as good without.
Anyway... I was very disappointed that the movie was not dedicated to eithe or both of these actors. It was dedicated to someone but I didn't recognize the name and didn't think to write it down to check on it later.
But they really didn't handle the death of Paul Newman (DOC) well at all. they talked about him but jsut let it go with a "we miss him"
Fillmore (previously voiced by George Carlin) was definately voiced by someone else, it was obvious. I did notice the license plate # and checked when I got home to see if it was on the original but it was different. I just looked it up, it was George Carlin's DOB 51237 (5/12/1937).
Didn't notice any hidden Mickey's but wasn't really looking, the movie kept me looking at other little hidden things that Pixar always tosses into their movies, like the volkswagen beetle bugs.
Anyone else catch anything I might have missed?
