Carrying on pins?

Any issues with carrying on trading pins on an airplane? I wonder if they pass inspection since they are a sharp object.

The disney pins are perfectly fine in your carry on. In fact, 9 out of 10 Dis'ers recommend it. The 10th Dis'er doesn't carry pins at all. All joking aside, it is not a problem at all going through security with bags full of pins. It is, however, suggested that if you have mass quantities of pins, you remove them from your carry-on bag and run them through the xray machine separately so there's less question about what they are.
