We are flying southwest out of Buffalo. I planned on packing some dry goods in a piece of checked luggage. I was wondering if it's okay to pack produce in a carry on? I can't live without fruit and thought if I stopped and picked up some apples, banana's and such it would save me from having to wait around the resort to have groceries delivered.

I've carried both apples and bananas in my carryon in the past. My one piece of advice?? Be careful not to squish the banana. Been there, done that and it isn't a pretty thing :rotfl: Give that banana some room of it's own. It's much tastier when it isn't suitable for banana bread

I'd just buy it when you get to WDW. Most of the food courts, gift shops and theme parks offer a variety of assorted fruits. They are going to get beat up in your carryon no matter how well you pack them.

Florida could have regulations about carrying fruit into the state. I know that California does, or at least used to, because of all the fruit that is grown there (they didn't want any pests brought in that might infect their fruit). I would go with a grocery delivery service. You could order fruit, bottled water, etc and have it delivered to your resort.
