carry on vs. checking bags/PHL airport

Would using just carry on and NO bag checking save a lot of problems flying out of PHL.

They do have size limits as to what you can carry on, also limits on the number of carry ons permittedl Check the website for the airline's specific rule.
As to saving time, I suppose it does for you, but, not for the people waiting to be seated or deplaning while you retreive your bags.

When the bins are full the airlines will requie that you gate check your carry on roller bags. Usually much easier to check your baggage.

No. The major problems at PHL is the security checkpoint lines. So in that case the more you are carrying on the slower it will be.
