Carry on question?????

I am flying to disney on 11/18. I have never carried on a laptop before. I am flying Southwest. Can I have all of my cables, power cord, and discs in the carry on. Thanks for any info.

Yes. You may carry on all of the cords, cables, etc. along with your laptop. You will need to remove the laptop itself from your carry-on bag and place it in a bin by itself to go through the x-ray at security. Also, make sure you have any WiFi or other wireless (EVDO, Edge, etc.) device disabled while on the plane.

Yes, but your laptop has to go through security separately, there are bins for this. For all the up to date info and more details check here:

If you aren't planning on using your laptop on the plane or in the airport, just check all the accessories in your checked baggage to help lighten your load. don't check your laptop in your checked baggage
