Carry On Bags and What's In Them

My DH is flying next Tuesday to Orlando and is only bringing a carry-on because I will be meeting him there with all of our other luggage. He's only doing the carry-on because he's travelling with our 18 month old son and it's a late flight in the evening.

If he packs his normal razor for shaving in the carry-on, is that going to be a problem? What if it's a sealed, brand new one? I just want to know so he can plan to have the town car stop if he needs to. Thanks!

DH and I flew to Las Vegas last month with just carry-on luggage. He had his razor in his bag and didn't have a problem. USAir allows safety razors in carry-on luggage. Check with your airline to see what their rules are.

Safety razors are allowed in carry-on and checked baggage. This is not an airline issue as much as it is an issue of TSA, Permitted and Prohibited Items for Air Travel

I have always taken an electric razor and a regular razor in my carryon - never questioned. Now, I did have security open my carryon to look at an OKW magnet and a WDW keychain.
