Carry In's Waterparks?

Can any of you help me? I was wondering what the policy for carry in's is at the waterparks. $12 seems a little steep for a mug, even with refills....I mean how much pop can one person drink? Even if we shared mugs, two mugs for four people would make $24 just for pop.

We are driving down so space isn't a big issue. If we brought a small cooler, would it be a problem to carry in our own softdrinks?

Thanks for your help.

I might be wrong but I thought I read that since 9/11 they aren't allowing any coolers in any of the parks.

yes, you can bring your own food in at the water parks. the only restrictions are 1. No glass, 2. no alcohol (all though there is alcohol to buy inside the park)

Just after 9-11, they did ban coolers for awhile, but the rules changed back so that coolers are OK to bring in, but they may be checked:D

Thanks for clearing that up Jimmybop, I wanted to bring a Cooler into Typhoon Lagoon this summer and thought I couldn't!:p

Okay, even though the question has been answered, I thought that I would just second that and testify that you CAN bring in a cooler to the water parks. We visited Typhoon Lagoon last March and took a cooler in filled with juice drinks and bottled water without a problem.
