We've stayed at the CBR twice and loved it both times. The minute you arrive on the CBR grounds, you feel as if you have entered a tropical paradise. The theming is carried out throughout the resort. You'll find brightly painted buildings, lush landscaping and steel drum music.
The resort is large but that's part of its appeal. We never felt crowded even though we were told the resort was at near full capacity.
The buses ran very efficiently during both of our stays. The CBR is centrally located so it never took us long to reach any Disney destination.
The food court had a nice selection of foods at every meal. We normally took our breakfast items to our room to eat so that we could continue to get ready to hit the parks.
Each village has their own white sandy beach complete with hammocks and beach chairs. At night, we could see the fireworks from our village's beach.
Since our
Disney vacations are 10 days, we have a couple of days to just sleep in and then enjoy our resort. The CBR is a great place to check out. The walk around the promenade is lovely and gives you a view of each village. At one point, you'll walk on a wooden walkway through a wooded area. There is an island in the middle of the lake that has hammocks, picnic tables and benches.
At the marina, you can rent surrey bikes and an array of boats.
Hope this helps you out, Lisa
