Hi! Staying for just 3 nights over Pres. Weekend. What would you pick. I can get Dolphin "free" for one night with points then $237 per night plus tax and resort fee. Carribbean Beach is $381 for all 3 nights tax included. Would it be worth the extra. Never stayed at either.

Hi. We just got back from the Dolphin. Loved Carribean Beach for the decor and theming but we liked the Dolphin better for the Location, location, location. You can walk to MGM (a long walk) and EPCOT (a not so long walk) and the Boardwalk (a very short walk). We loved walking around the Boardwalk at night and watching the Epcot fireworks before bedtime. The kids liked the pool better at the Dolphin too.

Are kids involved? If so, I would definitely stay at the CB over the Dolphin. If not, Stay at the Dolphin for the reasons ccollmoe mentioned: location...it's a short walk to both MGM and Epcot, the Boardwalk is great for walking, shopping and eating. We stayed at CB when the kids were younger and it worked well for us.

I would take a deluxe over a moderate. We've stayed at deluxe resorts our last few trips and the location has become very important to us. Out of Contemp, BC and Dolphin -- Dolphin was my favorite. Employees were awesome and I loved being able to walk to Epcot or MGM.

I'm partial to the Dolphin myself ;)
I think it would be worth the extra....you'll get your money's worth in a number of ways... by saving travel time to MGM and Epcot with the better location...the better pool...variety of dining/entertainment options at BW.........you'll get more out of your three nights with that location.
Have a blast!!
