carribbean beach resort?

anyone staying or have stayed in the Carribbean Beach? How is it? Can i have some reviews? I'm reading a few different things and i'm starting to regret booking my resort there. Any comments or complaints or compliments about the place would be extremely helpful. Did i make a good or bad decision?

I thin you made a good choice - this was the very first resort we ever stayed at and it was great. Kinda spread out so you may walk a bit to get to the food court, main pool, etc.

But it was really nice - and each area has it's own quiet pool that we really enjoyed...

We stayed there in 2001 and we had a great time the walk to the food court wasn't bad it has beatiful grounds and we liked to walk to get coffee and soda as the kids would walk on the beach and feed the ducks on the way back.

I am not sure where you are getting your reviews from because there are many happy folks that stayed at CBR.

If you read through the CBR FAQ thread you will see trip reports from recent stays at CBR. Just read the last several pages for the most recent reviews.

I've stayed at all 4 moderates and liked CBR. We stayed there in 1998 & last fall. We were in Barbados last fall and the room was in great shape. About a 5 minute walk to the foodcourt, a nice walk along the lake.

My family and I stayed at the CBR in April of 2003. We stayed in the Jamaica building, and we loved it. Jamaica is the first bus stop in most cases, so you usually wind up getting a great seat on the bus, if this is important to you (it was to us). We also loved that there was so many quiet pools - this way you can always find an uncrowed pool Also because the resort IS so spread out, you can have a lovely walk around the area. Hope this helps!
