Carriage rides

Has anyone taken the carriage rides at Port Orleans or Fort Wilderness?

We took the carriage ride at Port Orleans last November. Our driver was very nice and accommodated our early arrival. The only problem was that it was EXTREMELY cold. We brought a blanket from our room that we washed the days before for us to snuggle under. I didn't like the idea of using the blanket supplied. I highly recommend doing this carriage ride at least once during your many visits to WDW. It was a very nice thing to do!

We took a carriage ride at POR this past April. It was very nice and peaceful and it actually lasted longer than we expected it to. What we didn't know is you can bring a bottle of wine with you - we found out about 5 minutes before our ride and the driver wouldn't let us run into the store right there to get one. That would have been an extra nice treat - but it was still very nice!

We just took one last week at POR. We rode over to POFQ and back.

I called and booked a carriage ride for my daughter and her new husband when they were honeymooning at Disney..she said it was beautiful I also did dinner before the ride for them...this was a great shower gift for my daughter...
