Carriage Rides POR v. WL

Is there much of a difference between the two?

Comments please from anyone who has done either, particulary during the holidays.

I've only done the WL carriage ride. It starts at WL and heads toward the resort exit, but turns into the woods and heads towards FW. It did not go all the way to FW. They turn around at one point and return to WL. The majority of the time you will be surrounded by the woods.

Are you simply viewing tress and nature. Are trees strung with holiday lights?

Does the WL only have the carriage ride during the holiday season, or is it available year round like at POR??

Did the POR carriage ride for my birthday. Rode around the Island, mansions, and most of the way to FQ, very pretty and we shared a bottle of champagne. Great special treat!
