Carriage ride vs wagon ride at xmas time??

Is the carriage ride really worth that much more money?? I mean...it's private wheras the wagon is a group of people, right? but otherwise are they pretty much the same thing? are they different at xmas time? not that i've gone any other time.

You might do a search this site, but I believe that I read they discontinued the wagon rides and now only have the carriage rides

i must not be using the search correctly because i can't come up with anything recent.

I just got off the phone with Disney Reservations (407-939-7529) . They do have both carriage rides and wagon rides at Ft. Wilderness.

I have never been on either, so I can't offer an opinion on them. I will be taking my wife on the carriage ride, and was told it is $45 per group (4 adults or 2 adults and up to 3 young children).

Just an FYI, most of the non-affiliated websites have the ride listed at $35.

When we were at FW last Christmas, both were available. I think it depends on the size of your group. Both show the sights. We did the carriage ride at Wilderness Lodge since we were staying at FW and had a golf cart. We wanted to see something different. It was ok but I don't know that I would spend the money on it. We went down a street in front of the lodge and about a mile into the woods, turned around and came back.

I have been 'searching away" for similar info...curious to know the difference between the two...

I know the wagon ride is 45 minutes and the carriage is 25 minutes...
anyone know the path both of these rides take....wondering what kind of views you get to see. Would love to enjoy the christmas decor
