Carousel of Progress & Space Mountain 45th Merch??

I’ve got no idea which board this should’ve been posted in as I saw no glaring topic heading for merch talk, so I just will post this here. Any mods, feel free to move this to a more suitable home if necessary...

So a week or two ago, Disney released some 45th anniversary merchandise for the Carousel of Progress and Space Mountain and I really was hoping to snag one of the t-shirts and perhaps the pin for the Carousel of Progress. However, it hasn’t shown up on shopDisney and I’m not due to be there until March and I have a sneaking suspicion that if they aren’t already sold out by now, they will probably be so by the time our March trip rolls around.

Does anybody know if any of these items still remain at the Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. gift shop at the exit to Space Mountain? I’d really like some of this stuff and I’m wondering if I should just hit up eBay for those things or if I should bother waiting until my trip.

I'm in the exact same boat, but I'm letting fate decide for me. There's going to be a bunch of Runaway Railway and Flower & Garden merchandise I'm going to want when we go in early March too so my wallet is hoping it'll be sold out.

It's a tricky game with this kind of merchandise because once an item is sold out in the parks, it either jumps in price by a lot on the secondary market, or the price slowly goes down. I got the pins already via eBay since I know the likelihood of pins that edition size being there a month and a half later is possible though not likely. The only thing I'd like other than the pins is the Carousel of Progress shirt. It's currently at an approximate $20 mark up on eBay (retail $29.99, selling on eBay for around $49.99) so idk if it's worth the risk for you to wait until March to see if it's still there or not.

I guess another option I would suggest is using facebook. I belong to a couple of groups who do pin pickups and some of the pin pick up people do general merchandise pickups as well. Most people do pickups "at cost" which is usually something retail+tax+paypal fees+shipping+20% pick up fee.

I've heard of a Disney-owned park merchandise line that you can call and they'll pick it up and send it to you, I know it's charged above retail, but I don't have personal experience in it nor do I know what the number is. Hopefully you can get what you want!

For the SM merch the ears and bag sold out opening day online/app . We stalked and got a bag the next day.

For the ears dd and I both checked OFTEN. She said every 2 hours, I was more like every 4. She got the ears yesterday before 7am.

They don’t let you use your AP discount can only get 1 at a time.

She was able to buy 1 then immediately after a 2nd with same account at least.

She tried for for a 3rd for her old HS friend who is an ex-CM and was sold out again.

Next up is Pirates Of Cab for those not following. A new release of Minnie Merch will be out every month for a total of 12 this year,

They used to do such a good job of selling anniversary merchandise online. Not anymore.

They do have a 45th anniversary COP shirt design available at the custom shirt screen at the Light & Power location. I ordered one there yesterday and it should arrive at my resort today!

I assume that there’s probably no more Carousel of Progress 45th shirts remaining on the racks over at Tomorrowland Light & Power anymore??

Ordered this beauty on eBay a couple weeks ago for just a couple dollars over retail. I'm not going to the parks until October this year and I too was nervous about most things being sold out by that time. I'm watching a few COP things as well...
