Carousel of Progress Open?

Disney's website contains a listing of the Carousel of Progress ride. The website also shows "no closures" under December for MK. However, it also says this ride is only open seasonally. Is it only open the week between Chrismas & New Year's?

It's been open everytime we've gone. It's usually open.

The past few times I have gone it has hours of operation like 10-5 or somethiing like that.
