Decided to go Mall shopping tomorrow so head off to MGM mid morning, I’ve given up on trying to get all 6 people up, showered dressed and breakfasted for anytime before 10:00!!!

Stop of course to admire the MGM christmas tree and decorations, had a bit of a problem with Callums ticket this morning but this would be a recurring theme, almost every morning hereafter one of our tickets would refuse to work, so we all got them changed at least twice.
Never mind, straight up to the Hat for The great movie ride, we get the gangster version and its as corny and funny as ever, we all really enjoy these slow moving themed rides and they’ve updated the movie clip bit at the end (I’m pleased to note a huge Jack Sparrow flashing up – not literally unfortunately – before my eyes).
Try to get to The little Mermaid but it just goes all wrong, I knew we’d miss Lights Motors action, if I didn’t keep to my ‘schedule’ so hadn’t banked on people needing the loo 10 minutes after we’d just passed one etc.
One Mans Dream is as moving as always although my Son insists on the loo halfway through the film so I missed half of it. The animation studios get rushed through and the kids don’t really want to stop for photos with Chicken Little. We stopped for piccies though in the Narnia mock up they’ve got along Mickey Avenue but had to avoid Millionaire and the backlot tour if we wanted to get to the stunt show.
Due to the wheelchair we get good seats and watch the show, all the guys and Ruth really enjoyed it, Mum and I were less than enthralled, it really is a boy thing!
Had a wander through the streets of America and I noticed the Osborne lights were in position so MUST make the effort to get back later when its dark.
Tried Star Tours for the first time, Ruth, Mum and I came off feeling queasy but the kids went straight back on. This has now become the new favourite and as its mid pm even Dan was awake enough to enjoy it.
We watch Indiana Jones which quite frankly I couldn’t care less if I ever saw again but everyone else enjoyed it.
A great place for the parade outside sounds dangerous, I’d packed some bubbles for Callum and as he blew them at the characters he got so much interaction from them, definitely a good tip and made this parade the best one of the hols.
We headed up for Beauty and The Beast which is my Mums favourite and as we had the wheelchair we had front row seats, a great view and a magical show. What really made it for us was watching the signers in front of the deaf people on the other side of the stage, they were enjoying them selves immensely and were very clever. Every time they went back off behind the scenes, when they weren’t doing anything we could still see them singing and dancing along, that was magic, they were doing it because they loved it not because they had to.
Mid stage front row was a young Downs Syndrome girl, she was having the most fantastic time with a smile that could outshine the osborne lights, When Gaston came back for his curtain call he blew a kiss directly to her and we all burst into tears.
After a counter service meal at Rosies we wander up to Fantasmic – this gets me every time such a fabulous show, the lights, the music, the fireworks, the lasers… I could go on for ever.
We’re all shattered after the show so we head back to the Movies.
Dream of Mickey defeating Maleficent

That is so sweet about Gaston blowing a kiss to that little girl - I bet it made her day :)

I agree with you about Lights, Motors, Action - definitely a boy's show!

Enjoyed reading your report ~ Thanx for posting.

(I’m pleased to note a huge Jack Sparrow flashing up – not literally unfortunately – before my eyes).

Now that WOULD make my day :rotfl:

I had tears in my eyes anyway in BATB - soft or what

Thank you for your great reports.
