Carmax?

If anyone is familiar with Carmax, can you tell me if/when they lower a price on a car if it has been sitting on the lot for a while? Curious as to what guidelines they follow.

I think the policy is online. They hold a car at a certain price for a certain period of time. After that time elapses, they drop it by a certain amount. When it gets to their bottom threshold, they will remove it from the lot.

I LOVE Carmax! I have purchased three cars from them, two of them still had the manufacturer's warranty. I love not having the instant drop in value when I drive it off the car lot and I love not dealing with the car salesmen at a traditional dealership.

No idea about when they lower pricing, but I have to agree that we really like Carmax. We have bought several vehicles through them. We have also recommended them to family members who have used them.
