Carl's van rental

Has anyone ever heard of this company or used them. We need an 8 passenger van for Easter and the rate with hertz was almost $600. The rate with this company is supposed to be 369 week. Alamo was 516 but I see a lot of bad reviews about them and I don't want to sspend the whole day getting the car. thanks for the help. Beth

I can understand not wanting to spend the day at Alamo but, Carl's??? Iffy, if you ask me

My husband seems to think it is a good idea because we are saving money--I said I wouldn't use them unless I found out something positive about them. He found them on expedia I think. Anyone heard of them?
