Caring for shirts?

Ok, sorry if these questions have been asked before.

1. I am a big Disney nut and would love to wear my shirts to work every day. How many times can a HP dark transfer iron on hold up in the wash?? And how should I wash the shirts?

2. Is it necessary to soak both light and dark transfers in vinegar to set the color? Or can I just wear the shirts after ironing the transfers on??

What have you all done? Any help on this matter of caring for shirts once the iron on is on would be very helpful!! Thanks!

1. At least 6 times (that's how many I've washed my HP dark transfers so far).
2. I did, however, some feel it's not necessary. Didn't do it both ways so I don't really know.
