We are thinking of staying at the Caribe Royale at the end of August 2001. We will be 3 Adults and 2 children.
Will there be enough room for 5 people in these suites?
I am also wondering how their free breakfast is?

The breakfast is OK (it's free) but not great. It's NOT like embassey suites (No omlettes or eggs cooked to order). Each of the tower buildings has a continental breakfast and the hot buffet is in the registration building. The hot items are more cafeteria quality than restaurant quality (edible but not great).
A standard room as 2 full size beds (NOT Queen as they claim) and a pullout in the living area. The suite will be packed for your party, if you're not planning to spend much time in the suite it's OK.

DCMOM,
I beg to differ from Lewis's poinion above!
We stayed at the caribe with 2 adults and 3 children aged 7,9 and 12 (so not all small kids ) and found the suite to be big enough.
Also the breakfast was wonderful.Loads of food, nicely cooked and good choice. Also as mentioned a continental breakfast available in each tower.
Its in a good location ,the pool is lovely. The only reason I didn't stay there again was we wanted to stay somewhere with self-catering facilities.
I requested a pool view, which we got and to be on the same floor as a laundry .
