Caribe Royale VS Embassy Suites LBV?

I am trying to choose an upscale suite hotel as close as possible to WDW for the second leg of trip (CBR for first three nights). I want separate sleeping area, nice pool, convenient shuttle, maid service. We will have a car but my Mom is traveling with us and she will want to be independent (she will have her own suite). These two suite hotels seem to fit my requirements can anyone help me choose?

ES includes a free breakfast. Not sure about ES but Caribe requires you to reserve the shuttle the night before.

We stayed at Caribe January this year. Other than the pool (which we didn't use because Florida experienced some fairly cold weather the week we were there) and the playground, we were not impressed. Didn't try the restaurants personally--but my Mom and DD did and were very disappointed---breakfast was cold, dried out.
The room, for the price we paid, was small. We were in a non-smoking section, but the place reeked of stale cigarettes in the hallways. Plus, we were accosted every time we went through the building's entryway by a timeshare person.
Our family won't stay there again. Others, I have read, have different opinions.

I stayed at the ES last March and was generally pleased with a couple exceptions. Don't get a room overlooking the pool, I found it to be loud. Breakfast was OK, particularly the made to order part with an entertaining cook. Room was fine, staff was nice. They also do a manager's reception on Mon-Thurs evenings with some munchies and free drinks.
