Caribe Royal??!

I am a die hard stay-on-property girl. It has been 22 years since I have gone to Orlando and not stayed on property. Then yesterday my sister found sub $300 airfare to Orlando, leaving Sunday. She is bringing her husband and 15 month old and I have a five year old daughter...They don't want to spend the money for on-site and the Caribe has a two bedroom "villa". We are getting a car, so the commute is not an issue and with the heat there (we live in Denver), the pool will be a godsend!

Has anyone stayed in one of these "villas"?

What is the hotel like? I am not expecting the Poly, but clean and service is important.

Restaurants at the hotel? Any good? Breakfast buffet?

I just booked our trip at the Caribe Royale for the 2 bed villa too. Would love suggestions. It came highly recommended on Trip Advisor.

People here always seem to love Caribe Royale. Do a search and I bet that you'll find plenty of good reviews. I've been considering it but it's a little more expensive than some others I'm looking at so I don't know... On the bright side, they don't seem to charge for parking or have resort fees. Or so I've been told.

We stayed at the Caribe back in February 2009 for one night. It was clean and the staff were very nice. The pool looked fantastic - but we didn't get a chance to use it. It was also quite close to Disney - so you won't be going far each day. Enjoy your trip! We leave tomorrow for our stay at Animal Kingdom!

I just booked this hotel this morning for our arrival night. We got the 1-bedroom suite for a great rate that was listed on Mousesavers. We are driving & were going to stop in GA on the way but have decided we're going to go all the way but didn't want to spend a lot for a place to sleep.
