Caribbean, Coronado, or Pop Century?

My daughter will be turning 13 in November and for her birthday we are going to spend a week in WDW. There will be 3 of us - myself, her, and her younger brother. She wants to go during Christmas. I am trying to decide which of the hotels mentioned in the title would be best for us. We usually stay at Pop or, if more people in our party, at Art. In October we stayed in one of the renovated rooms at Pop and really enjoyed it. The price, for our dates, are very similar for the 3 hotels. I have 3 questions for those of you who have been to all 3 or to the different ones.
1. Which would be a nicer stay for us during the holiday season? Are any of these decorated for the holidays?
2. My son is in a wheelchair. Is there one that you recommend for ease of getting through the food court, to the room, etc.
3. Are busses better at one resort over the other? We always ride the bus with the wheelchair and find the ones at Pop to be fine and quick for us. Are the busses closer, farther from the parks, etc. at the other 2 resorts?

I want to make reservations soon so that I am assured of a room during the busy time! Thanks in advance!!

The biggest thing going against the moderates is the resort layout. Depending on where your room is you need to take a bus just to get to the food court.

Also both your mod choices are doing major construction projects.

It's a big of a gamble but CBR is expected to be done with their construction by this summer and their preferred rooms will be more affordable than Coronado without question.

If you aren't doing preferred or don't want to take the risk, you might as well do PoP again.

Stayed at all three .... all have pros and cons -

You know POP but also know during Christmas you will experience much more chaos at the resort and buses than you did in October. Renovation should be done so you would get a new room. All the resorts will be busier.

CBR - Do NOT book a Pirate room they are far. The food court area should be done by then. But there will still be MAJOR construction at the resort; at one end the 15 story tower and unsure of land around it since it is it's own resort. At the other end is the gondola station which has cleared out a huge area of land. Both big projects.

CSR - This will be the prettiest decoration wise. I'm thinking all the rooms will be completely renovated by then which is nice. They will be working on the tower but from pictures they seem to be keeping the eyesore low as possible. This has been my kids favorite since they were teens. We have never had issues with buses here and it's a good central location.

PS If you don’t stay in Pirates at CBR your walks are reasonable. No other resort needs a bus to get you around resort.

If you have your own vehicle I would go with CBR followed by CSR. I love POP been there a few times but it can be loud in dinning area and busses can get slowed down during busy times.

CSR. My kids loved the pool and if your room is closer to the main pool vs the food court, you can get food at the pool bar (breakfast included). We ate there 3 mornings before leaving for the parks and it was great! Buses were always empty when getting on from the Rancho bus stop and that's where we got the best bus service of all the resorts we did.

The CSR bus stops are closer to the park entrances than Pop or CBR. Pop and CBR are some of the furthest stops especially at MK. At DHS, Pop is stop number one, which is quite a way down. CSR is right outside the entrance gates by the transportation question booth.

CSR! I was pleasantly surprised by the bus/transporation system.

I stayed in Casitas building 4. It was a wonderful location. It's between the main pool and the lobby.

The bus stop was right outside my building. There are four stops at CSR and then off you go. No sharing with another resort. It was super quick and easy. Better than the Deluxe resorts I have stayed at.

The location of the resort is great and the theming is beautiful!

We have stayed at all three as well. I would say no to CBR first. Not wheel chair friendly IMHO. If you liked Pop in the past, I'd say it is the best option.

We loved CSR but the food court is tight and far. Busses were farther than Pop. Driving yourself to and from except MK and parking in handicap parking could be an option.

Bus walk has become high on my list over the past few years -

Thanks! The comments really help. Because we do use the busses I think that we will stick with POP. We do have a car but we don't ever get in it while on vacation at WDW even if we have to wait a while on the busses. We have never had a bad stay, I will just looking for something different but it sounds like POP will fit us the best!! Thanks to everyone!

I passionately dislike CBR. I would only stay there if it were free. Way too many bus stops and the whole place just doesn't give me that "Disney Bubble" feel.

Pop would be my pick of the other two. It's really one of my favorite resorts on the property, and very wheelchair friendly, as I'm sure you know.

We've stayed at all 3 and the only one I didn't like was CBR. We love both CSR and Pop, but as you said you wanted to try something different I would go with CSR. We've had the best bus service at CSR, and I like that the stops are covered. We've also found the food court to be better and much less crowded than at Pop. Pop has lovely, well kept grounds but CSR is so beautiful and a bit more relaxing. If you're able to use the pools, CSR has a great pool and also a large hot tub.

I have stayed at all of them, multiple times each. There is a reason CBR and CSR are the same price and it's the construction at both. That construction is something that will ruin it for some, not bother others at all and everything in between. I would check the construction threads on both mods on here and also.look at YouTube videos, making sure the videos are fairly current and also bearing in mind your trip is ten months away.

I love all three resorts. It just comes down to how you feel about construction.

I’m wondering if anyone has more info on the construction at carribean. We are trying to book a hotel for the week of March 21st (busy time to go) and the best deals are for carribbean (open to ALL hints and suggestions!!!)

The food court area is closed at Caribbean Beach. They currently have a buffet in one of the buildings for Breakfast and Lunch and some Grab and Go's set up in a few of the buildings. And they have food trucks set up. I love Caribbean Beach, but the food court deal changed us to Pop for our June trip.
