First time staying at Caribbean Beach. Would love to her about your favorite area to stay on this property and why. We're so excited...Thanks!

As PP has said, there is a CBR official thread, but I am personally a huge fan of the resort. It's my favorite of all of the resorts when I measure value, theme, location, and QS options.

The only complaint I've ever had about the resort are the buses, but this a common complaint among many resorts. Some people will say it's too big (33 buildings in total with two floors each) but I personally see that as a plus because it never feels crowded there to me.

Old Port Royale is great with lots of QS food options and a couple of shops. It can be a hike from many resorts and unless you're willing to pay for a preferred room, you may have a long walk or have to take the bus there. However, I am a fan of getting a room at Aruba Jamaica (buildings 51 or 45) because they are right near the bridge to Old Port Royale and you have a nice scenic walk by the lake/little island on your way there.

We stayed at CBR just this past December. I requested and received rooms in Jamaica 44. That way we were right by the bus stop that is usually the first pick up (bettering the odds of getting seats) and still not too horribly far away from the food court.

We love the CB resort. The grounds are so peaceful and relaxing. If you stay in Aruba or Jamaica, you can walk across the bridge to the food court.

Non-preferred Martinque is also a good choice that's not too far from the food court and pool area.

Some busses enter the front gate and some the back gate so depending on which park you're going to/from and which village you're in, you could be toward the first stop or last stop.

We usually request ground floor but there are lots of gardens around and the doors face exterior so keep in mind lots of little critters around. There are no elevators for the second floor.

The best thing to keep in mind is to enjoy the beauty of the resort and not get over whelmed by it's size.
