I know riviera is new, was wondering if anyone has any input as to how it is with a 1 and 2 year old.

we are debating between 2 rooms at Caribbean beach and a 1 bedroom at riviera?

I can't comment on having young children there (my DS is 12), but I can comment on the 1-bedrooms at RIV - they are gorgeous and really spacious! The split bathroom is huge as well and the views are beautiful! (we prefer the standard view rooms on a higher floor) You will also get a full kitchen and a washer/dryer there plus a balcony. They have a very nice splash pad for younger children as well. You won't be able to guarantee connecting rooms at CBR. You will have so much space at RIV - that gets my vote!

We were actually debating between these very two for summer—we are 2 adults and a 7 year old. We ended up with the Caribbean because we save almost $200 a night, we are still on the skyliner, still see Epcot fireworks, and CBR has a great pool. We can walk to Riviera for our Topolino dinner and breakfast reservation from CBR. Riviera does look beautiful, so I was very torn.

I'd do a 1 bedroom over 2 rooms every time. Just for the space, kitchen and having washer/dryer in your room.

Week of 5/30-6/6 seems busy...I saw someone say Florida out of schools will hotels also be busy or just parks

Is your party just 2 adults plus the 2 little ones? Connecting rooms are not guaranteed, so with kids that young I would NOT try for 2 rooms at CBR for just the 4 of you. You could end up with parent+child in each room. Do RIV is you want the extra space.

Several states are out of school by the end of May. WDW resorts have high occupancy any time of year, regardless of school vacations.

Enjoy your vacation!

I would vote for the 1br at RIV. With 2 little ones, the laundry in the room might come in very handy! :)

It would be 2 adults and 2 toddlers in 1 rooms and 1 adult in another if we did Caribbean beach. We are leaning towards riviera wanted to make sure it was still kid friendly pool and quick service was ok for toddlers
