Caribbean Beach Resort Fridges

Anyone know how big the fridges are at CBR? I'd like to get a couple of gallons of milk but if they are the same size as what they had in the rooms for minibars back in the 90's that may not work.

I don't know if they are tall enough to fit a gallon of milk in there.

We had one last year...there is a shelf (which maybe removalable) and the mini freezer...We could easily fit a bottle of water (12 oz size or so) standing up in there...but I think a gallon maybe too tall.

We stayed at CBR in May, 2003. The frig is small, but we did get a gallon of milk to fit.

Just one? I've got two teenagers that love milk in the morning and a wife that inhales OJ. I was hoping to fit 4 mornings' worth in the fridge.

It is a small dorm size. I needed it for my son's meds, so they waved the 10.50/day fee. I'm surprised anyone got a gallon of milk in there - it would be a challenge.

The refillable mugs can be used for coffee, sodas, iced tea, lemonage, etc. I just don't remember if they had OJ.

IIRC, juice and milk are excluded from the refillable mugs.

We had a fridge at AKL in 2001, and you could get one, maybe two *half* gallons in the door. If you want to keep a gallon jug you'll have to remove the shelf. And that makes it hard to keep the other stuff organized. They really are not very big...

Last trip (8/03) we bought a collapsible cooler at WalMart before the trip and took it with us. It cost $15, and held about as much as the fridge. Larger ones are available. Since we were there 7 days it saved us a bundle. We used ziplock bags to hold the ice so it would be easy to put new ice in each day (from the ice machine in the hall).
