So, I've heard Shutter's at CBR is nasty; but, what about the food court. I've tried to search and I wasn't finding anything recent.

DH & I stayed there for 10 days last fall & had the DDP. We never ate at the food court - didn't see anything that looked any good to us. We went to Pop Century, Pepper Market, POR, & POFQ (gumbo-yum).

A few years ago we were staying at POR and went over to CB for lunch in the food court. Compared to POR the food was horrible. Nothing was fresh. Pastas were cold, bread sticks hard as a rock. It appeared that everything was brought in from somewhere else to be resold. Most of the selection was pre-packaged in a "grab and go" type of setting. We didn't like it at all.

We loved Carribean Beach, but found their foodcourt to be eh...not our favorite. It's fine for your standard Disney chicken strips and pizza, but that's where expectations have to end. The food courts at Pop Century, POR and POFQ are so much better. We've also eaten at the Pepper Market, but didn't love that set up either.
It wouldn't deter me from staying at Carribean Beach again, though, we would just work around the food court there and plan minimal meals there for more variety.

We always go to CBR for our first meal in the food court on arrival day! We love the steak sandwiches and strawberry banana smoothies which count as a drink if your on DDP! My son gets a cheeseburger and daughter gets the chicken fingers in the sand bucket, they seem to like that. They also have some interesting cupcakes or you can get the prepackaged cheesecake or carrot cake, or soft serve ice cream. We will be going there for lunch in 45 days!

My DD will be okay with chicken fingers and stuff if we need to eat lunch or a late dinner. I'll just plan on hitting a monorail resort for a late lunch/early dinner on the day we are going to MNSSHP. All other days should be spent in a park or DTD, so we should be okay if As long as I can get some decent fruit and maybe some yogurt cups. I don't eat much pasta or bread and don't eat any potatoes or rice, so that limits me a lot also.

We ate a lunch at the food court and it wasn't fantastic but not horrible either. We were all wanting an ice cream cone and unfortunetly the machine was broke:(

We just got back and ate at the CBR food court three times. We like there CS food. CBR has a deli shop and we really like all of the sandwiches they make there. We also like the burgers and chicken strips. They have great smoothies and good desserts. We have never tried the pasta or the pizza.

We were there last Sept.-Oct. and we thought the food court wasn't that great. We were there 9 days and only one ice machine worked the entire time. The food was only so-so. Don't get the fried plantains it was one of the worst things I have ever eaten in my life. It is a shame to because we loved the resort. It like 2 vacations in one with the white sand beaches. I don't know if we will ever stay there again, but if we did we would make sure to keep all our meals in the parks. I hope you enjoy your stay.

We were there in May this year!! LOVE the resort, the food court wasn't high end food but it was great for what it was....We didn't eat there every day as we were in the parks and at other TS restaruants. We did eat at Shutters one nite and were very pleased with the meal. I was scared given what I had read on here but our family of 4 were all very pleased. Either way, the food court would NOT keep me from this resort. Loved the atmosphere and the bus service was perfect while we were there.

We stayed at CBR last August. We thought the food court was pretty good. They roast chicken with 2 sides for dinner. It wasn't gourmet but it was pretty good with a decent variety.

Our family of four has stayed at CB many times, but opted for POR for our trip last year. I hope the food hasnt changed, since we are going this fall and have never had a problem with the food. Looking forward to the Deli sandwiches (beef and blue if it is still there), chicken nugget bucket, pizza and homemade chips! We also like breakfasts, including mini mickey waffles....yum.

We stayed 9 days at the CBR in Nov 10 and we were so disappointed with the food....the breakfast just wasnt good so we stuck with danish and tea and the evening offerings were not any better

We liked the food court at CBR. I thought the food was pretty good, and we definitely had more options than we had at AKL.

Our meal at Shutters was fine, but my husband wasn't feeling well that night, so we ate very quickly. Our biggest complaint was how long it took our waitress to bring us our check. We asked for it and boxes pretty quickly after we got our food, and it still took her forever to bring them to us, after it had taken a while for them to bring us the food in the first place.:headache:
