Caribbean Beach Resort FAQ Part 3

As many of you guys know, we recently enjoyed our one week long stay at the CBR. It was our third stay at the beautiful resort! As I posted a few pages back, I lost our pictures....over 300 of them! Well, I took my camera to the camera shop today and, after two hours, the guy was able to retrieve all my pictures!

Thanks for the congrats! My son and I actually said a prayer over the camera and for the camera shop before we pulled out of our driveway. Our prayers were answered. The camera shop burned all the pictures onto a CD and charged me just $22.00. I tipped the guy an extra $20.00.

I'm downloading other pictures right now and will post them in a bit.

Do the CBR rooms have a safe in them? If so, do you have a picture of it? How big are they?

Here are the pictures I took of the safe. My husband has epilepsy and takes quite a bit of medication every day. I was able to fit all of his prescription bottles, my son's PSP, my checkbook, an extra set of keys, our portable DVD player and my son's wallet in the safe. It was a pretty tight fit but it worked!

These will show what is availlable at the Grab It n Go Market. Please note there is another section in the same building that has groceries, like a loaf of bread, half gallon of milk, peanut butter and jelly. plus a lot more.

Thanks so much! That helps alot. I didn't know there was a separate grocery area, that may make life with my picky eaters a lot easier.

Our Trip will be a walkcation...I had good feet until pregnancy and then they just spread carrying over 90 extra pounds....I am sneaker challenged. I was thinking of trying to wear crocs for part of the time...we will see. I am glad that I gave you a good laugh

Have you ever heard of Keens?
I swear by them, I personally think they look nicer than Crocs also.

They have an arch in them and offer great support! I even brought a brand new pair for our last trip and didn't get to break them in before we left... Not even a little blister or anything.. I now own 7 different styles!

Just a suggestion for achy pregnancy feet!

me, too. we check in 9/7. i had my hopes up for a while, but with Fay, doesn't seem likely. still, at least if all the construction walls are down and it's filled with water, it will LOOK pretty!

On the allears website she wrote that Disney is hoping to have the pool open this weekend. She says that Fay did slow them down, but she thinks they will find a way to make it work. My fingers and toes are crossed it is open for your vacation!!

Was this picture really taken on the 12th? We had breakfast on the terrace about 8 am just before leaving for the airport and it was very sunny and geting quite warm. It looks like it clouded over a bit.

My camera date was off by a day. I had to change the batteries during our stay and I didn't set it correctly.

Thanks so much! I have many more to post. I posted lots of pictures of the new Nemo rooms. I have some of the pool construction but mine were taken before those already posted here. I took some of our food so I could post them over on the Disney food thread. We visited Pop Century while there and I took pictures there too. I absolutely love taking pictures even though I know absolutely nothing about photography.

Hi gang,

Well it's finally here, the towncar is picking us up at 4am, our flight departs at 6am and arrives at orlando at 8:30am. I wanted to personally thank many of you for the work you all put into this thread, making it one of the best! I will try to get pics of the pool and hopfully new rooms. Anyone have any request on any pics they would like to see??? I never went to kodak college, so i will do my best with any pictures.
