If we have a MK pre-park opening ADR at 8:15am, when should we catch the bus and will it be running?

Disney says allow 90 minutes for their transportation to get you there on time. Early mornings, we've switched to taxi's because we don't want to risk missing (we do tours and they have a you miss if your late time). We don't want to be standing outside at 6:30am for an 8:15 time somewhere.

So what is the recommendation to get to MK from CBR then? Maybe taxi to Contemporary then walk?

Buses start rolling at 6:30AM for early ADRs. For early MK ADRs we are at the bus stop 60 minutes before our ADR and have been on time every time.

So what is the recommendation to get to MK from CBR then? Maybe taxi to Contemporary then walk?

You could do that. But the bus would be a better option. We go the taxi route when going to another resort for an early ADR because otherwise you need 2 modes of WDW transportation. But we find the buses work great for early park ADRs.

Does anyone know the bus pattern at CBR? In other words, what stop is the first that all buses start at?

It depends which entrance the bus uses. If the bus uses the side entrance Jamaica is the first stop. If the bus uses the main entrance then Martinique is first.

I was hoping the short answer would be bus! I'll get to bus stop at 7am, and hope that works ok.
We are in a preferred room so hopefully it will work well. Although I guess that doesn't really matter for bus stops

We just received our '10 days to go' email from Disney, under their things to know category, they had a message about the monorail

I'm so glad that I asked about the bus now - we WILL definitely be taking the bus to the magic kingdom.
