Caribbean Beach Resort anyone going?

Is anyone going to the Caribbean Beach Resort this week? I heard this is a nice place and look forward to being there. I have a suprise trip planned for my girls. We arrive on October 5 and check out on October 10. I am getting so excited and cannot wait to tell them.

I hope it does not rain much, I checked the forecast but it seems to have rain or thunderstorms everyday we are there. Keep your fingers crossed.

I will be picking the girls up at school on Wednesday and driving them right to the airport.

I can tell you that I love the resort. But some people don't like it because it is so spread out. I like it being that way myself because it doesn't seems as crowded.

Have a great time. The rain chances are higher this week because of a tropical wave off shore. We really do need the rain so bring your ponchos and you will be fine.

We just canceled our ressie for the POP,( 12/7-12/12) so hey, maybe you can get in there now! Our new ressie is for the CBR and we can't wait!!!! First time staying there, love when we hear nice things about it!

This place is awesome!!!! I can tell you that a good building is building 26 and its right near the Food Court and very close to the Pool with the Slide. My children loved this place. A nice room to be in is around 2614. This is a first floor room and not far from the bus stop, pool and food court.

We will be at CBR Dec. 7-12. I have never been to Disney at Christmas so I am so excited. I have stayed at CBR resort many times and love it. I always try to stay in Aruba. Our last visit was in June and we had a great time. I can't wait to come back!!

My son and I are staying 10/28 - 10/31 and looking forward to MNSHHP. Never stayed on Disney property before so am looking forward to it. Hope this hotel is good. We're used to staying on-site at Universal

We are going to be there for a few days Thanksgiving week! Yay! First time at CBR for us. I hope we like it. Also, it is the first time that I'm not cooking Thanksgiving dinner for a huge crowd! I am looking foward to the relaxation and dinner at Boma's.

My sister and her family just checked into Coronado this afternoon. Her impressions: thinks it's pretty (what she has seen of it this far). Says it's HUGE. Said it rained tonite and it's not super warm, but still a bit muggy. Kids swam in the pool but the slide wasn't operating. They ate at the Pepper Mill and she said the service was horrible. She said it was the longest she has ever waited for a meal in all her trips to WDW. This on top of having to pay a 10% gratuity, when you have to pick up the food yourself, didn't make her the happiest camper.

That's just impressions from being there a few hours. Grain of salt.

I haven't stayed at the CBR for years but will be there for Halloween.. I'm looking forward to the resort.. Hubby just wants to save money and stay off property since we live in Florida now.

Allaboutmm - I did notice that we will be at CBR the same time!!! I just can't believe I'm going back again after being there in June. DH just said last weekend - let's go to Disney at Christmas. I couldn't believe it. I quickly booked a room, made plane reservations and ordered tickets for MVMCP. He told me I'm spoiled, but I reminded him it was his idea!!! He didn't go with me in June (he didn't want to leave our 18 yr. old DS home by himself) and I think he felt he missed out on all the fun I had with our older son & his girlfriend and our daughter. Unfortunately both sons cannot make this trip (22 yr. old DS is a teacher and will be working, and 18 yr. old DS is away at college). It will just be myself, DH and our 13 yr. old DD. I hope you and your family have a great trip as well and maybe we'll see each other at the resort!! Carol

We will be there December 8-12! I'm so excited. I am planning a June 2006 trip but my husband and I decided we needed to do something for just the 2 of us. So, we are on our way.

This will be our first stay. I hope I like it as much as you.

Okay, all you CBR lovers, what area do you recommend for me? It's just my husband and I. We have a king bed room reserved from December 8-12. Since it's just the 2 of us, I'm not concerned about being close to the pool.

Can you request a view of the lake?
