Caribbean Beach or Port Orleans French Quarter

Hi,
I need expert opinions on these two Disney moderates. We've stayed at Coronado Springs and really liked it. We want to try a different mod for our next trip. Both of these look appealing. Let me know the good, the bad, everything. We will be traveling in June 2005 with my grandfather, parents, sister's family, and my family (3 senior citizens, 5 adults, one teenager, and three age 2 - 5).

so the CBR can be very, very far from the food court/restuarant area. Unless you intend to drive everyone around - I won't chance this resort.

POFQ - has lately been rehab and should be fine - but mousekeeping has not to been up to pare for this resort. I am hopping now that the WDW cast members aren't going on strike that this will improve greatly....

remember that both are moderates - only 2 double (full) beds in these resorts.

I would go with more room at a DVC resort - but then again there is also something about everyone having their own room that is nice too.

2-bedrooms at a DVC - have a king bed in the master, queen size sleeper sofa in the livingroom, 2 queen beds in the second bedroom or 1 queen and a double (full) sleeper sofa. full kitchen, nice livingroom, washer/dryer, and a balcony. OKW is the biggest also the cheapest - everything is bus transportation.

Since you're travelling with senior citizens and younger children, I'd recommend POFQ. It's the smallest of the mods with the least amount of walking. Also they only have 1 bus stop vs. CBR which has many (best after a LONG day at the parks), and they offer boat transportation to DTD. Also POFQ has just finished refurbishment.
