We are visiting WDW from October 18-29, 2013. It will be myself, DH, DD age 7 and DD age 5. Out of Caribbean Beach (preferred room), Coronado Springs, and POP (preferred room), which would you chose? Please give your reasons and also any other helpful advice. Would you recommend having a rental car for any of these resorts? It is my first visit since the 80's and first time for DH and DDs. We are so excited! Thanks!

My choice would be CBR. Our first onsite stay was at CBR and we loved it. The caribbean atmosphere was beautiful, the pool was fun (and has been redone since our stay), the food court was good with alot of variety, and the bus transportation was quick and efficient. Our boys were 7 & 9 when we stayed there and they loved the pool. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at CBR again. With that said, I can't compare CBR to CSR and Pop as we've never stayed at either. We don't care for the theme/decor at CSR and the values have no appeal to us.

Stayed at them all, and loved everyone, for different reasons! Mods are always just slightly better though. More specific bus services, more stops closer to your rooms, whereas economies have one bus stop at the front of the resort. Econs. share buses, however Pop does not. It's all personal preference, but inmy opinion you can't go wrong with any you mentioned. I have a slight preferred to Coronado. In reference to car rental, no way! I have never had a problem with the buses, and couldn't imagine having to drive around the parks!:thumbsup2
