CARIBBEAN BEACH - CARPETING REMOVED???

Been a while since I have stayed at CB but have they removed the carpeting from the rooms?

Saw a guest complain on a CBR forum on another site yesterday that they still have carpets in most rooms.
The stated the carpet was damp & smelled.
But they were not specific on when they stayed at CBR.
We are there in Sept & are hoping that all the carpets will be removed by then.

We stayed most recently in July and there was carpet. I haven't seen anything anywhere indicating plans in the works for room remodels.

The rooms were not remodeled that long ago, at the time Disney had not started the current trend of laminate flooring. I'm sure it will be awhile until they renovate them again. We went last April and the room was great, even with the carpeting.

Still carpet in our room at CBR when we stayed there in December 2019.

We have January carpet Jamaica building 44 CBR. Doesn’t smell though.

Still has carpets. Rooms last refurbed 2014/2015.
