When are you going? Where are you staying, eating playing. What are you watching, avoiding, looking forward to to?

We are leaving the evening of 7/5. Staying at Seralago. So far we plan on eating at Chef Mickey's (kids insist on it every trip), Donald's Breakfastsarous, garden Grill & Fantasmic dinner pkg at Hollywood & Vine. We have 6 dsay MYW tickets & plan on spending 1 day at Magic Kingdom (we were just there not too long ago & feel one day will be enough, just wanna see what's new), 2 days at Epcot, 2 days at MGM & 1 day at AK. Probably headf to DTD one evening. The kids get such a kick out of the McDonalds there. So, now we just wait. Wait & rethink our plans over & over again. How about you?

We leave in less than 48 hours. We are staying at Westgate VV. Planning on just shopping and hanging out the remainder of Saturday after we arrive and also on Sunday, will probably do DTD, have thought maybe BB but then could just hang out at the pool and relax. We are a family of 4, also traveling with us is mom, dad, brother, & niece. We have PS at Crystal Palace for 8:05 Monday morning and will spend the entire day at the MK. Tuesday will spend all day at Epcot, Wednesday at AK, Thursday at MGM and back to MK on Friday. Probably wait and watch Wishes and Spectro Friday night and ride Monday during these times, probably depends on what the weather looks like. No special plans for meals other than CP, maybe try The Earl at DTD. We are so excited...... :hourglass

Leaving day we'll do goodbye b'fast at Chef Mickey's

CAN'T WAAAAIIIIITTTT!!!!!

Just finished planning. We are staying at Indian Creek VV from July 9th through July 23rd. The first night we will be staying in the Sheraton Safari hotel - getting in around 5 so it's just get the kids (8 yo DD and 5 yo DS) to the pool and relax. Can't wait to get away from this blasted cold and snow. :cool1:

Well my trip isn't finalized yet, but Ill give you what I've figured out so far. (Mind you this can change at anytime, we still have a year and half before we go.)

We are staying 6 nights and are probably gonna get the MYW Dining Package.

Dec 6 (Wed): Either mid-am or early afternoon flight out of BUF to MCO (there will be a layover somewhere so we'll have lunch at whatever there is at the airport, probably something like pizza). If avilable the Magic Express Service (or whatever it's called) to Pop Century. Dinner at Everything Pop (most likely).

Dec 7 (Thur): Probably wake up around 9 or 10ish; breakfast at Everything Pop. Go to Epcot (assuming this is the day Epcot has PM EMH). Future World in the earlier part of the day. Lunch as Sunshine Season Food Fair (loooooove the BBQ chicken sandwich). Then head off to World Showcase. Dinner at Rose & Crowne (gotta try those fish & chips, yard of beer and the Bailey's Irish Creme brulee). Then back to the hotel.

Dec 8 (Fri): Wake up about the same time and breakfast at hotel again. Go to Animal Kingdom. Lunch at Flame Tree BBQ. Then dinner at Boma. Them probably back to the hotel for the night.

Dec 9 (Sat): This is our day off. We'll go to the Boardwalk and DTD. Not sure where we'll have lunch at, but dinner at Yachtman's Steakhouse.

Dec 10 (Sun): Wake up about 9/10ish breakfast at hotel. Go to Studios (assuming this is the PM EMH). Lunch at I'm not sure yet. Maybe dinner at Spoodles. Black to hotel afterwards.

Dec 11 (Mon): Wake up 9/10ish and breakfast at hotel. Go to MK. Lunch at Columbia Harbour House. Dinner at Ohana maybe. THen back to hotel.

Dec 12 (Tue): Waking up will depend on flight time. Breakfast at hotel, lunch at an airport.

Rides will Ride:
Epcot: Spaceship Earth, Living with the Land, Soarin', Honey I Shrunk the Audience, Journey into Imagination w/Figment (I can't remember what it's like), Test Track, Mission: Space, Universe of Energy, Maelstrom. I also love Innoventions so we'll spend some time there.
Magic Kingdom: Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, Splash Mountain, BTMRR, Haunted Mansion, It's a Small World, Peter Pan's Flight, Mickey's PhilharMagic, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Sping, Carousel of Progress (assuming it's open), Stitch's Great Escape, Space Mountain, and the People Mover (yay relax).
Animal Kingdom: Dinosaur, Primeval Whirl, It's Tough to be a Bug, Festival of the Lion King, Kali River Rapids, Kilimanjaro Safaris, Expedition Everest.
Studios: Muppet Vision 3d, Indiana Jones, Great Movie Ride, Star Tours, Backlot Tour, Lights Motors Action, Rock'n'Roller Coaster, and maybe Tower of Terror.

We will be leaving on Thursday evening 4/14/05. We are driving down from MA with our 33' Travel Trailer and staying at Fort Wilderness. We should be arriving early Saturday, and plan on just undwinding from the drive, hanging at the pool and probably visiting DTD for some shopping.

We have DD (15) and DS (11) traveling with us as well as Grandma (my mom - 67 years old) who has never been to DW before or been camping before. Should be quite an experience. My DD has been 4 or 5 times, and my DS only once. So between DS and GM, it should be an interesting time.

We are looking at buying a 7-day hopper pass with no exp. It doesn't work out to be much more money than a 5 day pass which is how long we will be down there since we plan on leaving Friday morning so we will be home early Sunday with a day to relax before returning to work and school.

We have already reserved Chef Mickey's for the night we arrive for dinner, and the Hoop Dee Doo for the 18th. The kids don't want to do the Hoop Dee Doo, so they will probably just take the boat over to MK, and we will meet them over there after dinner.

Also taking the 2 dogs with us who will be kenneled somewhere in one of the 5 kennels Disney has, so we will have to work our schedule around them as we have to take them out for walks 2-3 times a day. It will give us a break from the parks. Am glad the kids are old enough to venture around some on their own (with a cell phone to call us if the need to), that way we can take it at our own pace.

Just found these boards, and so far, even though I have been to Disney 5-6 times, it is amazing all the little things you can still learn.

Melissa :cool1:

This will be our 8th trip!

We're going Nov 25 - Dec 2 for my 40th birthday celebration! So although we are DVC members, we're staying at the Contemporary in the Tower because I LOVE it!

My younger sister will be there for part of the trip which is great!

We will start out at Universal the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving to see the Grinch and Whoville again and see if my then 9 year old is tall enough for the roller coasters and check out the new Mummy ride!

Saturday night we may eat at Sci Fi or just relax and check in to the CR.
Sunday we'll spend at MK and top it off with the Candlelight Processional at Epcot
Monday we'll start out at Epcot I think and then meet my sister at MK for Spectro and Wishes
Tuesday is my birthday!! try for CRT and then do Crystal Palace and MVMCP that night
Wednesday is our MGM day topped off with Fantasmic package at Mama Melrose and possible EMH at MK
Thursday MK in the AM (possible CRT) then whatever we want and Chef Mickey's for dinner. Possible EMH at Epcot
Friday am at MK and whatever we missed and head home.

I may fit in a boat rental and Alice Tea party and possible the Family tour.

It's tough planning for so many people!

We're leaving early Sat April 16. We have 7:30 am flight. We live 2 hrs from the airport, so do the math. No sleep for us :faint:

Staying off site on International Drive

I'm calling this our Power Park vacation. We haven't spent a week in Orlando since we discovered cruising in 2000. We felt it was time to go back to the parks for 1 year. (then back to DCL)

Sat Anime convention for DD and DH. I get to do WHATEVER I WANT!
Sun MK
Mon Universal
Tues MGM
Wed Islands of Adventure
Thurs Epcot
Fri AK
Sat (1/2 day) Universal then on home around 5.

We don't make a lot of plans regarding where/when we're eating. It's kinda "we're hungry, where do you want to eat?" :mickeybar

Our vacation is a long time away.... :sad2:
I am hoping watching everyone elses planning will help me get thru it faster. :teeth:
We plan on arriving to DW on Jan. 5, staying at the Dolphin or another deluxe Epcot resort, if we can get a discount.
We are doing the 1/2 marathon on Saturday, so we plan on being really low key the days prior and the day after.
We will check into the OKW on Jan 8th staying till the 20th.
It will be exactly 2 years since our last trip when we get there...so I plan on doing everything at least once. We hope to do a waterpark as we haven't done one in a while.
My son will be 4, so I am excited as he was 2 on the last trip. That is a big age difference and I bet he will be so different this trip!!!
I can't wait!!! :Pinkbounc

We plan on all our PS at lunch mainly but here is our list so far.
Boma's
Sci-Fi
Japan--like 3 or 4 times, we love it
Donald's Breakfast
Rain Forest Cafe
Beaches and Cream - 3 or 4 times

We will have to see about the rest.
I hope everyone has a great vacation! :bounce:

We also don't plan on much for eating. We figured since we are camping, we will probably do alot of eating at the campsite to save some money.

We had thought about doing Universal's Island of Adventure, but don't know what to do with the dogs that day, plus I don't know if there is enough to do there since my mother and I aren't big roller coaster, hairy ride, kind of people. The other Universal park we have been to twice, and didn't really keep our attention so we didn't think we wanted to spend the money.

We will probably do Blizzard Beach instead.

MO Disney Cruiser - we have also discovered cruising and have done 3 cruises since 2/03. Our last Disney trip was in February '02.

We figured even though we may not get back to Disney for another 2-3 years and DD will probably not want to go with us, we can use her unexpired pass for one of the grandkids.

We're arriving 3/25 for 5 nights, staying at the AKL in a Savannah view room (2 rooms) 9 of us...........5 adults, 3 teenagers and 1 toddler.

Friday 3/25 - Check-in to AKL and enjoy resort......visit DTD and eating at Earl of Sandwich, call it a night.

Saturday 3/26 - MK, lunch at Whispering Canyon :earboy2: :earsgirl:

Sunday 3/27 - Resort day.....try to find an Easter Egg hunt for the Toddler.

Monday 3/28 - MGM, lunch at Sci-fi and dinner at Boma

Tuesday 3/29 - Epcot, Dinner in Japan

Wednesday 3/30 - Check out International Drive before heading home.

We've been to Disney too many times to count and wanted to make this trip a little more laid back instead of the typical rush here, rush there and fully packed days.

Hope the crowds are tolerable.......anyone else 3/25 - 3/30???? :wave2:

We're leaving June 3 and will be there until June 11. I'm taking my 2 nieces and 1 nephew, my daughter and son in law couldn't come this time. We're staying at Grosvenor the first night, I have to work Friday the 3rd and we won't get there until late. Got a great price (I think) for the night there through Priceline. Saturday we'll be moving to Port Orleans French Quarter for 7 nights. I'm hoping to be able to reserve a Illuminations cruise for one night - I can start trying to book this Sunday. I bought 7 day tickets with park hopping and plus features. My nephew loves Disney Quest and I wanted to make sure we could go there at least a couple of times. I really can't wait for June to get here. I'm WAY more excited than the kids are!

Terri

Emeraldlover - if you're not a big coaster/thrill ride lover, I would not recommend IOA.

Don't you just love the relaxation of a cruise? Have you cruised Disney or others? We're looking into next year DCL for our 20th wedding anniversary.

We're staying 3 nights at ASM and are on dining plan while there.
Staying the other nights at OKW.

Thurs 9/22 Checking in early evening & then relaxing ... that's it!
Friday 9/23 Early entry to MK... eating at Crystal palace that night & staying for Wishes.
Sat 9/24 Going to MGM... eating at SCi-Fi Drive In
Sun 9/25 Checking out of ASM, going to AK spending day there. Going to OKW checking IN, unpacking and headed to Poly for dinner at O'hanas.
Mon 9/26 Typhoon Lagoon Day Wahoo!! Sleeping in and then the water park. That night we'll take boat from resort to DTD to "take it all in" & eat at Rainforest Cafe.
Tues 9/27 Epcot day - probably will eat in our room that day.
Wed 9/28 MK again... we have little ones, you can't do MK too many times, right?? Going early w/ DD2, for breakfast at Cinderella's Round Table.
Thursday 9/29... DH takes teenager - I take two little ones and we split up until afternoon time (everyone does their favorite thing). Meet up to go to dinner at Whispering Canyon. Back to DTD to get souveniours if haven't done it yet??
Fri 9/30. Hang out at resort, pool, playgrounds, etc. Maybe have nice breakfast at Ohanas OR Olivias (@ OKW). Pack up, and leave for 3:10 flight.

As you can see, this is just a very rough schedule, and hopefully it'll stay that way. I would like to know what parks for each day, but also like to be flexible. We're not getting hoppers, but I think we'll manage without since we're there for a good solid week. I hope this helps. Have Fun!

Well, this is my first post... seems easy enough. i've been overwhelmed reading all the information you guys contribute on here...AWESOME. We have done 3 cruises since February 2003 all with Carnival. Twice w/o kids and once with (it was over Christmas, and we couldn't very well leave them home alone on Christmas - lol).

So far, I find I can only afford the Carnival cruises. Disney just is too expensive as well as Royal Carribbean. I have to say that I have enjoyed all 3 cruises even though I get seasick (mostly just a dizzy kind of feeling - no nausea) from the time the ship leaves the dock. But that's what Dramamine or Bonine are for.

This last time, we even stayed on board during out stop to Belize. The other 3 ports we kinda just ventured around not really doing anything. Several times, we just laid out on our balcony and napped.

I am already looking at some bargains for a future cruise with extended family. Unfortunately, I don't want to do FL or the carribbean during the summer because DH and I hate the extreme heat and humidity. However, when we can go and bring the kids (x-mas break, Feb. vacation, April vac.) the rates are so much higher even though it is technically off season. And, since the kids are older 6th and 9th grade, I don't feel comfortable pulling them out of school. This trip they will only miss 1 day and since it is the Friday before school vacation, they won't be missing much.

This year I've booked a trip for just me and my son, for his birthday in October. He's going to be 16, and I figure I don't have any Disney trips left with my "baby" boy, before he decides he doesn't want to be hanging out with his Mom in WDW anymore.

I took my two lil girls last year, for a girls' weekend, and we had a blast. My husband likes Disney but he doesn't love it like me and the kids do, so he is a sport and doesn't mind when I want to plan a trip for a special occasion without him.

So... we will arrive 9/29 and stay until 10/3/05.... at the Coronado - a resort we've not stayed at before. It was my son's choice...his fav is YC but it's not in the bugdet this year!

I'm especially psyched for this trip, because not only will it be just him and I...and his birthday, but it is the first weekend of MNSSHP (which he could care less about, but will go to humor me!) and the Epcot Food and Wine Festival will also be starting up - and THAT he is pumped about, as Epcot is his favorite park and he loves good food.

So, aside from hitting our usual favs, we have some new treats to look forward to. I can't wait!

Susan :mickeybar
