Care or Walker for ECV Rental??

My mom will be joining us on our December trip. She will have to rent an ECV for our entire stay. The last time we went we used Randy's. They were great, but I didn't like having to wait around on them to deliver the ECV and then be there to pick it back up. So, we are now looking at Care or Walker. The prices are the same, and you do not have to be present for delivery. So, does anyone have a preference for one or the other?

Bsically both of them provide the same level of (excellent) service, and the prices are about the same. We have had all three (Carek, Randy Walker) on the recommended list for years.

Personally I use Walker, never had any trouble with them.

Thanks! I kind of figured that would be the answer. I had emailed Care earlier in the week and decided to use them. I wish I could get her an ECV of her own. I know she is going to need one constantly very soon. Thanks for your help.

We go several times a year and have always gotten great service from Care. The folks in the office are friendly and helpful and when we have had repair issues, they have always come through. On one visit we tried a small, new company and it did not work out at all and Care bailed us out. When you are ready to buy a Scooter, you can buy one from Care. Live on the West Coast and we purchased one from Care and had it delivered to our WDW Hotel and took it on the Disney Cruise through Panama Canal to California. A most entertaining way of shipping it home

Just returned from a week. We used Buena Vistas Scooters - relatively new and right on the Boardwalk. The scooter was delivered and waiting on us and we just left it in the lobby upon leaving.

The scooters were wonderful -- NEW condition and very easy to handle. The battery charge stayed up the whole day!! and we had some very long days--were probably a little more expensive (31 to 32) with tax, but very worth it! !

One thing I like about care medical is that the chairs are the soft fabric kind. I find that more comfortable for my back. The only down side is that if it rains you have to protect the chair.
