Care Medical vs Apple Scoters

I have used Care Medical in the past with little to no problems. Any problems were rectified promptly. I have found their scooters to be comfortable and no problems with the battery life if at the park at rope drop and stay for extra magic hours in the evening.
I am thinking on renting from Apple on our next trip as their prices are cheaper. How do their scooters compare to Care’s. I am planning on renting the deluxe as I am using Disney transit and not driving. Will it last the day? How is their customer service?
I noticed talk on a different thread about “preferred” partner companies. In the thread they mention Apple as preferred company; Is Care also referred? Do you think that companies will be added or removed from the list?

I can speak to Apple's service and scooters. I had an issue with the batteries on my personal scooter. I called them since I know they carry the same scooter. They tried to help me even though I wasn't one of their customers. They in the end gave me the name and address of another company who could help me.

This past January, another person in our group needed a scooter. We again called Apple around noon and the scooter was waiting for us at 3 when we got to the hotel. The scooter was their larger one and it was a very nice scooter. We were in the parks from rope drop to closing and the scooter had no issue with the batteries. I was actually told by Apple when I had the issue with my scooter, that they change the batteries on their scooter once a month, just to be sure there is no issue.

I know that the three "partner" companies (Walker, Buena Vista, Apple), pay to be allowed full access to not only the resorts, but the parks and anywhere else someone might use their scooters. I would suggest you call and ask Care about whether or not they will be joining that list anytime soon. You might even want to put a scenario to them such as:"If I was in MK, and the scooter I rented from you dies at the back of the park, what is your procedure for getting to it to get it fixed?". I know some people have reported that with some companies, they have been told that as soon as they push it out the gates of the park, someone will be there to fix it. Apple and the other 2 companies come to you, wherever you break down, if you break down.
