Where do you reccommend buying paper and cardstock in bulk ?

What do you mean by bulk??

I bought a pack of 150 WHITE cardstock at walmart, it is acid free. They also had colors. Your local office supply store (Staples) will have card stock as well.

I asked this question on another scrapping board I visit...and someone referred me to www.scrappapers.net. They recently disabled their on-line shopping cart, you will need need to either fax in order or call in order.

Their "Scrap Boxes" are $60 for 300 sheets of 8.5x11 cardstock. 2 sheets of every color (150) they have. Also comes in a nice sturdy plain cardboard box with plastic handle. Good for storage of something. They also sell same in 12x12 -- I THINK $100.

From that home page, click on eyelets to enter list of items sold. It seems the link to the store disappeared when they disable shopping cart --- at least I can't find it. LOL

Also, QVC has some great packages. Over time, I've purchased:
F27819 Crazy for Cardstock 8.5x11 150 sheets $19.80
F27916 Making Memories 98 sheets 12x12 -Watercolor $31.12
F28027 same as above but in Heritage colors
F29285 Designer Prints & solids 125 sheets 12x12 $29.75

and F1085 set of 4 Designer Photo Mat Books $18.17
F1091 Cropping Mats 432 sheets $19.96
Both of these are 6.5" x 4.5"

And LASTLY..... Michael's Craft Store sells something called "THE SLAB". 180 sheets of 12x12 paper from the ColorWheel Paper Collection. 3 sheets each of 60 patterns & colors. 80lb non-coated paper. Each color family has 3 sheets of solid & 3 sheets each of 3 co-ordinating patterns. Really nice - no brainer when trying to match papers! Regular price is $19.?? , but it is on sale very often for around $12. It's a great value.

Not sure how much bulk you were really thinking about, but today at Michaels I bought a pack of 50 classic colors which wer originally $16 and used my 40% off coupon. Roughly .20 a page I think.

Thanks everyone. I tend to go through a lot of paper ( and tape runner ). So I thought it might be cost effective to buy in bulk ( 30-50 sheets ). I will keep researching.

Pebbles in My Pocket also sells their cardstock in bulk packs. You can get solids or mixtures. Their site is:

www.pebblesinmypocket.com

I've ordered many times from them and have always been pleased. Their cardstock is a nice heavy weight, but not super-thick either. HTH! :)
