Card Swap~COMPLETE

Well, I guess I should have looked more closely! I only looked at the list showing everyone in the groups, not the list of each swapper and what groups they are in.

The groups next to my name should be B and J. thanks!

Looks like my groups should be listed as A and E.

Good gravy, that's what I get for drinking at work! :lmao:

Thanks for checking me...

PM sent - and I've ordered my card blanks. I may have just enough left anyway but I don't want to run out;)

I pulled them all out yesterday and started dividing them up, and I am one set short (unless I make a set with llots of different sizes). But I have enough to get started and roughed out some designs:thumbsup2 Because of the postage time I only have 3 weeks to do this:scared1:

I've never been involved with a card swap before so I've got some questions.

1. Are there any size requirements on the cards?
2. Do we need to use pre-made cards and envelopes or can we make our own card bases and envelopes?
3. Do we do anything to the inside or do we just leave it blank?

I want to get started on these this weekend, but I want to make sure I follow the requirements.

Thanks!

The only size requirement is that you provide an envelope in which (I'm getting all grammatically correct :) ) the card will fit. They can be handmade or store bought envelopes, I'm easy, as long as it fits and can be mailed.

As far as the card backs, it's entirely up to you. I have loads and loads (and loads) of cardstock, so I will be cutting my cards from that, but if you want to use the premade kind, go for it!

Again, I'm easy (but NOT cheap!).

Have fun,

Missed a question, that's what I get for Dis-ing before coffee.

You can put a sentiment on the inside if you want, but it's not a requirement, as long as your card front "looks" like it's group. For example, you can keep the birthday card blank, as long as there are candles/whatever to indicate it is a birthday card. Okay?

I'm off to find some coffee, my kid's slacking off.

My blanks arrived and DS(9) is at camp for the weekend so I hope to get started on these. But I do have to go to Bluewater for a spot of retail therapy tomorrow:rolleyes1

 I've got 2 done and 1 more to go!!!!!! I finished the Non-Disney kid's birthday group and the boy card for the Disney/Cartoon group. Now, I just need to make the girl card for the Disney/Cartoon group. I used cardstock as my card base for both cards I've done and a thinner cardstock to make matching envelopes. I'll probably use ready-made bases and envelopes for the girl card because the white will work with that card. It didn't really fit with the boy ones.

I've done one group. I had hoped to do more this afternoon, but its clouding over so we'll probably need to eat inside (which means I need to keep the dining table clear:headache: )
