Card at Check in or at Reservation time?

The search isn't working for me so sorry if this has been asked a million times before --- Do I need to have my AAA number with me when I call CRO to make a room only ressie or do I just need to show my card at check-in? Thanks!

When I made my AAA room only ressie a few weeks ago, I had to supply my AAA number.

The CM twice said to be sure I had my card at check-in.

for the first time ever, they asked for the aaa # at time of booking last sunday. also reminded me to have card at check-in.

yes on both. I was asked for my AAA last January when making reservations for April, and I recall showing my AAA card at POR when I checked in.

I Think It Is Hit And Miss! I Was Not Asked Number On 2 Different Times When Making Reservations, But Told I Would Need It At Check-in!! On My July Trip She Did Not Ask To See It! I'll See If They Ask For It In December!

A week or so ago I booked our May 2007 trip and asked to have a AAA rate applied. They did it no problem. This morning I called to book a different trip for Dec 2007 and the CM asked me for my AAA number. The CM asked "do you have your AAA number handy?" When I said "No", she said "well technically I'm not supposed to book a reservation without the number, but I'll just put a note in here that you're going to call back with it." Then she said at the end of the call "Make sure you call back with your AAA number." Not sure what they'll do if I don't call back. I am waiting a little while to re-join so my one year membership dues will cover both trips.

I made my reservation through CRO on August 6th and was asked for my AAA number. CM reminded me to have the card with me at check-in.

Have been using AAA discount @ WDW for several years.

Only time I was asked to provide # @ res.time was for AS Mo last year...didn't need it to book CR for Oct.

They did remind us to bring card w/us though.

when I booked our nov trip back in June I was asked for AAA # first time that has happened to me.

My TA booked room only yesterday with CAA/AAA discount and they never asked her for the number.
