car vs. shuttle fromLGB

I have a car res. right now for aprox. 155 from lGB airport trying to decide if I should go with that or get a shuttle? Not sure by the time We tip the shuttle etc if it will be much cheaper for the 4 of us any suggestions??

You can get a shuttle for about $15 per person, best to tip $1.50 per suitcase you put in the van.

what shuttle company do you know? Do you have to wait in long lines to get a shuttle? Thanks

After you deboard the plane, and get your luggage from the outside carousel, walk across the street to the parking area. There are always a large group of shuttle drivers waiting there (the companies they work for vary, some are independent, all are good). Tell them you want to go Disneyland. They will quote you a price, but say that the taxi drivers will give you a fare of $15 dollars a person. The shuttle driver then give you that fare without hesitation.

We've rented a car the last couple of times. The drive from LGB is easy, and its nice to have a car while you are there. We always make a trip to the store to get bottled water, pop, snacks, etc.

If you have a costco membership or entertainment book dont forget to check them for discounts and coupon codes for your car rental. We've had great luck with Alamo "hot deals".
