Car signs

I was wondering if anyone creative could help me. I am trying to make a car sign for our trip. I want to get it laminated and then attach it to a magnet to stick onto our car. I am looking for it to say "Walt Disney World or Bust!" on it. I have been playing around with fonts and programs on my computer but some reason it just isn't working right. I can be a creative person. But computer design is not exactly my thing. What I want to do is cut the magnet out in the shape of the mickey head.

I have made a couple of jut plain black mickey head magnets for our kitchen fridge and they look great!

Does anyone have any suggestions? Or that could help design something for me? I would greatly appreciate the help. Thanks!

I cant help with the designs, but i can assist with the application ...

We had our art converted to .psd format, and then brought it to a printer, who printed it on removable vinyl sticker stock.

It was easy to apply, stuck without tape, was water proof, and removed very easily.


To apply we just sprayed the car with soapy water, peeled off the back and laid it down. when we got it were we wanted it, you just squeegy out the water and it sticks!

To remove you just peel it off -- no damage to the paint, (the paper we used was UV transparent).

It is so good we actually still have Stitch on the window, and its been 2 years in the Canadian winter.. (for the record, Lotso is also still in place as well )

it wasn't that expensive -- about $40 all in .. just search for a local sign shop!

Wow! Your van looks amazing! I just hope our car can look that great. Thanks for all the help everyone. I might be looking into those magnets and that magnet paper at Walmart. That would make things so much easier. I will try to post a few pics of what I end up making.

And as an update. I picked up some supplies at Walmart and put in a quick call to my local sign shop in my home town.

I started working on not only car signs, but also posters and room window decorations. Nothing too fancy. Just some signs saying what we are celebrating while we're at Disney. But it has kept me busy!

Also planning on maaaaybe purchasing some magnets and things on Etsy to add even more of a magic touch.

I will try to post some pictures if anyone wants to see them.

Ok more of an update. Sadly plans to drive down have been changed.

We have decided to fly out of Buffalo Airport. Luckily I was able to find a great deal on flight tickets and a hotel to stay in the night before that will let us park our car free there for up to 14 days because we booked a room. Much cheaper then the parking lot prices. And the lot is secure, plus we never leave any valuable in our car anyways.

I am a bit sad that we miss our road trip together. But I am happy to get to Disney sooner! So it's a toss up both ways. As for the car signs I did have ready. I will use them for another trip. Or just even place them on the car for the three hour drive to Buffalo.

Still planning on bringing the decoration signs for out ASMR room window. I was able to make one little Stitch graphic which I will try to post. I apologize if it comes up huge or doesn't work.

I found this online and was able to change the lettering on the movie clap board to our name and dates of our trip. Thought it was kinda cute. I think I might try to get this printed out on an iron on sheet to add to shirts for my hubby and myself since we love Stitch!
