Any suggestions for a reputable car pick up service? We're flying into LAX and out of SNA. Would prefer to hire a car service as opposed to an uber. No car seats needed.

We used Diamond driver guy last trip from Burbank, but they also go to lax and sna. We are using them again next month.

Make sure which ever service you use they are able to pick you up at the terminal or else you have to shuttle to a lot

I have used Lansky for a number of years. They are professional, reliable and their vehicles are clean. They will pick up curbside or at baggage claim, depending on the airport. I can’t recommend them enough.
I agree….Lansky’s are the best

I had a frustrating experience with Lansky's a few trips ago so after using them a bunch of times I switched to Executive Car Service. Very happy with the service I received from them the 3 times I have used them so far and will continue to book them for sure!

Would you mind elaborating on what issues you had with Lansky? I am getting ready to book a car service for a trip with my Mom next February and was going to go with Lansky, but figured I should check here with my DIS folks! Glad I saw your comment ☺️

Edit: Nevermind, when searching for more Lansky reviews and I found another post you made that detailed what went wrong. Sounds like your flight was delayed and they wouldn't make a grocery stop (even with constant communication)?

Partly. There was also the added issue that the reason there was no time to make the stop was due to the driver being at the wrong terminal (even with me giving them my flight info and also terminal as soon as I knew it) and then taking about half an hour (if I remember correctly) to get to is at the right terminal.

Yikes! That sounds frustrating... I am always so eager to get going so I can imagine how that felt! Thank you for sharing.

We just used diamond driver guy again. Our flight was on time, but once we landed we sat on the tarmac for about 35 minutes because there was a plane at our gate. Our driver still took us to the store for our 30 min of shopping time without issue. I really like their communication and on the way back to the airport, our driver was the owner and he was a pleasure to talk with!

What does Lansky charge from LAX to the Grand Californian Hotel? Just comparing prices.

We had a really great experience with Western Executive Car Service on our trip two weeks ago. The owner is active and recommended on a couple of the DL FB groups I'm a part of. On our arrival day, he picked us (8 people) in a limo bus kind of thing, and he decorated it with Disney items and played Disney music videos on the screens for the kids on the drive. It was really cute.

They have all their pricing on their website. I checked when I was trying to decide how to get from LAX to the GCH.

Karmel was less and was mentioned on the Disneyland website, so I used them, but wasn't entirely happy with them. They also let you determine specific pricing on their website.

Thanks. I am going to stick with the car service I have been using for years. It is cheaper than Lansky.

Would you be willing to say which service that is?

And being a car service, it can pick up right outside baggage claim, right? That's an important feature for many of us when dealing with LAX.

We used Lansky’s last summer, and everything went seamlessly. They aren’t allowed to park curbside and wait at SNA, so they have you text when you walk outside to the pillars, and they are there in about 5 minutes. They did a grocery stop (and you can choose which store you prefer from a list; we chose Super Target) for us, and then straight to the GCH. Suburban or similar for 2 adults and 4 late teens. Clean and roomy. Very good communication.
