Car Service Recommendation for Port of Miami to FLL

My Daughter and I are on the 5 night Dream cruise getting back on Saturday morning (Christmas Eve). Debark time is 8:00 and our direct flight back to Ohio out of FLL is 10:55. We plan on walking off with our luggage as soon as we are allowed to. Does anyone have a car service they would recommend I contact? I want the car there waiting for us. For those that have cruised out of Miami what time do you think we could actually get thru customs? I have Port Canaveral down to a science but have never done Miami.

I know that our time is earlier than some would feel comfortable with but it was by far the best option (out of MIA or FLL) to get us back home in the early afternoon instead of much later in the evening. My daughter is 15 so we should be able to move quickly.

Oh that's great, thanks for sharing. It didn't occur to me to check for shuttles, I was just mentally prepared for an obnoxiously expensive uber ride

I'm on the same cruise and looking at options as well. Flights are definitely cheaper into FLL so I may just see you at the airport!

We did this a few weeks ago off of a Virgin Voyages cruise and just took an Uber. It only took about 30 minutes to get to FLL.

Sailing out of Miami this last Nov there were tons of Taxi's and options to FLL from the port. The drive is only about 30 min not including any traffic.

You could always look into using an Uber Black (Their upgraded service) and pre schedule your pick up in advance! We've used that a few times at WDW.

Thanks for all of the advice. Assuming we are on schedule for debarkation at 8:00, what is a realistic time to actually be thru customs and able to get in a vehicle? 8:30?

We have used "Black Car Service" twice and were very happy with them. On time, good drivers.

We found customs to be a bit slower in Miami than Canaveral, a long winding line then a few officials lines to split in at the end. It could have been the time we left the ship, though (a little on the late side).
