Just wondering if anyone can recommend a car service for 5 (3 adults, 2 children) from the Orlando airport to WDW? We are wanting one that has a grocery stop too!!! Please share all experiences!!!

We have used a service called HAPPY LIMO several times. I got their information off of the mousesaver.com website. If you tell them about mousesaver you get a small discount. We have never had a problem with them, they will meet you next to baggage claim if you want, or you can call them when you get off the plane and they will meet you outside.
They will stop for grocerys if they know ahead of time and your flight lands on time.
Drivers have always been super nice so we tipped them well.

A second vote for Happy Limo. When we do not rent a car we use them and have never been disappointed.

We use *********** all of the time, and love them!!!

It's edited out----Quiksilver

Before we started using Disney's Magical Express we always used Tiffany Town car. They have an online website and IIRC a discount coupon, the round trip includes a free 30 minute grocery stop. We used them over a dozen times and always had great service both ways.

Now we use DME and let Disney do the luggage transport, the driving and have our groceries delivered from wegoshop. When we stay at the Dolphin however we still choose Tiffany.

Our very first year, we took MEARS (this was pre-ME). Now, every year, we use Tiffany. They are by far cheaper than most of the competition (I'd say all but I am sure the second I do, someone will find the ONE cheaper) and we've always had excellent service.

We use Sunray Transportation. We have used them for 4 trips and LOVE THEM. IF you go on Mouseforless.com you can get a small discount too. IT wouldn't be a trip to Disney without BOB...that is who we always request. You get the 30 min. grocery stop too. PM me if you want more details.

Just rent a car (Alamo) at the airport for one-way....drop it at either Downtown Disney or I think Swan/Dolphin....there are several WDW drop off places.

One way from MCO To WDW for a midsize SUV (reported to seat 4 adults and 1 child, plus 4 bags) is $34.14 with all taxes included. This was without shopping around or coupons or anything. That's WAYYYYY cheaper than a limo ever could be....you're free to take as long as you want at a Walmart or whereever......this rental is 24 hours, so you could even use it to go off property to the outlets or a dinner off site, whatever you want. When you're ready to drop it off, drop it and hop on Disney Transportation to a park or back to your resort.

Then....when it's time to go back to the airport....pick up a car at the same place you dropped it off at the start of your vacation....and leave it at the airport.

So...$35 + $35 for the two 1-way rentals.....less than $20 in gas even if you do some shopping.....that makes it about $80 and all 4 of you get where you need to be when you want to go.

That's cheaper, faster, more comfortable, less hassle, and lots more freedom.

I guess I just don't get why so many people pay $100 each way for a limo? Is it the fun/novelty of being chauffered???

Jan...the official driver of my family....thank heavens my DH doesn't like to drive....we'd probably be divorced by now if we always fought over the steering wheel!

Sounds perfect for us,
But I ahve to weigh it against a rental at $115 for the week. Our problem is the mini van $$$$ we could send the men in the car and store stop. We would have it for convienance, but not fit all 6 of us to go to parks?
Ummmm.
Thanks for another option. Now I have to figure out how it would be droped at Disney and get back there again?
Does Enterprise do this too?

PS hotwire.com has great specials going on. Some midsize cars were $80 a week.

$115 a week is a great rate, and if the choice was $70 for 2 one-way trips or $115 to have it the whole week, well....I'd definitely for the whole week and use it to get back and forth to the parks, go out to eat off site, shop, visit something other than WDW (ooooo, sorry, that's blasphemy isn't it?)

All car rental places will do a one-way rental.....the real question is whether Enterprise has a drop off location at WDW. I don't know the answer to that and their website says you have to call an Enterprise office to arrange that. BUT....the one thing I do know and love about Enterprise, is that they will bring the car to you.....I've done this many times when we've been on a trip and I need a car....you call, they show up at the hotel with your rental vehicle in tow....you sign the paperwork, they unhook your car and you're off. Then when you're done with the rental you bring it to their office, they check it in and then they'll drive you back to the hotel. Very nice when we are on extended stays and only need and extra vehicle on occasion (we travel with my husband on his business trips and if he needs the business vehicle his company is paying for we rent for a day for us....otherwise, we get the company rental, lol). It wouldn't be quite as convenient at WDW because you'd be picking up at MCO and wanting to drop at WDW, but you could drop it at Enterprise's nearest office and they'll run you over to WDW (unless somehow WDW has restricted this because Alamo is the "official" rental company.....not sure about that).

About having 6 people.....a mini van is NOT your only option. Check out some of the SUV options.....a lot of them hold 5 adults and a child and are much cheaper to rent than mini vans (for instance the Pacifica). As someone else said, there are also great deals to be had. I have never used hotwire or orbitz or places like that, because I'm picky about who I rent from, and frown on not knowing before I pay, but there are great deals if that's not a concern to you.

Tiffany Towncar, the one I mentioned, is about $100 for the whole round trip, not each way. And then it's chauffer-driven, no GPS or maps or directions needed, and they include the side trip to the store, too, if needed. You get the same driver each way (that matters to some people) and that price includes gratuity/tax, etc.
