Car Service from CBR to AKL

I am surprising my family with a split stay and moving to AKL club level for the last 3 nights of our trip. I thought it would be more fun to arrive by fancy car then just by the bus.

Does anyone know of companies that would do just a one way drop off like that or will I need to use a taxi instead?

I checked with Mears and in one place it looked like I could do it for $28 and then when I tried to book it it came up that I would have to charter a car for 3 hours at a cost of $160.

It may be hard to find a company that will do this. Unless they have a fare, waiting at AKL, it really isn't cost effective for them. It would probably be a $20 cab fare....you won't find a Towncar service that will do it for that.i think I would just go with a cab.
