We're using the Magical Express to get from the airport to AofA and I noticed as I was reading through the instructions that it says, "car seats are not permitted on the motor coach but can be transported." We have a 4dd and we're bringing a car seat because our state requires it to be used for the shuttle that we're taking from our home to the airport.

Does anybody know if what they mean by not permitting car seats is that they don't allow the car seats to be used on the bus but if you have one, they'll just put it beneath the bus in the luggage storage area? I can't imagine them meaning that it is completely not allowed on the bus to be used or transported on behalf of the customer from the airport to the hotel.

They will have no problem storing under the bus and giving back to you when you are at your hotel destination, where you can put it in an out of the way space in room until you are sadlt heading home.. :(

Can you use Uber that has a car seat so you don't have to deal with bringing yours just for a shuttle?

Your quote states a car seat can be transported. That means underneath the DME bus you are on.

It means you can't use the car seat on the bus but they will put it with the luggage in the storage area under the bus. Car seats are not required on buses in Florida. And in fact, when I was on ME in January it was the first time I was on a ME bus that had seat belts. The resort to park buses don't have seat belts or allow car seats either (heck, you might not even be able to sit).

We've used shuttle services from home to the airport and they've always been able to store the car seat for us for the return trip home (if you're using the same service). That way you don't have to take it with you if you don't plan on using it during your trip.
